Joel Cabana – UNITY Club Montréal Demo Mix Released (March 21, 2026)

As of March 21, 2026, I’m proud to share my latest mix: the Unity Club Montréal Demo Mix, now available on Mixcloud.

This mix was recorded as part of my submission for a resident DJ opportunity at Unity Club in Montréal—a venue that represents a meaningful part of the scene and a place closely tied to my roots and passion for nightlife.

The set is structured as a full musical journey. It opens with disco-driven grooves to set a warm, uplifting tone, transitions into touches of old-school hip-hop influence, and then gradually builds into house and tech-house. From there, it shifts toward a deeper, more underground techno direction, bringing a darker and more immersive energy to close things out.

The focus throughout is on flow—keeping the energy consistent, intentional, and engaging from beginning to end. Every transition and selection is designed to feel natural while maintaining momentum on the dancefloor.

This mix reflects both where I come from and where I’m going musically. The idea of earning a residency at Unity would truly feel like a return to my roots—reconnecting with Montréal’s energy and contributing to the atmosphere that first inspired me.
